As a developer or a merchant, you might get errors, blank pages, or lack of performance on your shop and you would like to troubleshoot your website either on your staging server or on the live server. One of your very first option is to enable the debug mode of your Prestashop 1.7 e-commerce website.

How to enable Debug mode in Prestashop 1.7

In your Prestashop 1.7 admin panel, navigate to Advanced Parameters on the left hand side block. Then hit the link Performance to access the configuration panel. You will see few buttons. Not sure that all are usufull. The one in our interest is the Debug mode. Click on YES to activate the debug mode in your Prestashop website and Save to leave this section.

It is still possible to perform this change manually.
